All Day Kindergarten March 2012

Looks like the groundhog may have been mistaken.  Signs of spring are popping up all around us.

Don't forget our Silent Auction Friday, March 9th.  There will be lots of good food, fun for the kids and neat items to bid on.

In March we will finish up our alphabet letters,  continue working on writing numbers, letters, words and sentences.  We are exploring subtraction and continuing our work with money and time.

We are talking about the miracles of Jesus and doing an extensive study about heaven.  The children have lots of questions about the special place that God is even now preparing for us.

Our big project in March is getting ready for our Easter Program which we will present in chapel on Friday, March 30th.  The program starts at 9:00 and lasts for about a half an hour.  All of the Kindergarten classes will participate.  We hope that many parents and other guests can come.  We will have our Easter egg hunt and party in the afternoon.

Spring break will begin after school on the 30th and continue the first week in April.

Registration is in full swing.  If you plan to register your child for next year or if you know someone that might be interested in attending SPCS, have them contact the school office.
