We currently have three Extra Curricular clubs for our students,
Student Council, Robotics Club and Drama Club.
Student Council is made up of elected representatives from grades three through five. There are executive officers of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. During the year, student council meets once a month and plans school activites and fundraising events or service events for charities. This is a great way to build ownership in our school, encourage leadership skills and teach students to serve others.
Robotics Club meets once a week and is for fourth and fifth grade students. There is a VEX robotics competition each year. Students work together to build the robot and program it to do a certain task set by the VEX competition coordinators. This is a wonderful way for student to learn problem solving skills and ways to successfully work through problems with a group.
Dram Club meets weekly and is open to students grades two through five. There is a Spring Performance that students work on throughout the year in addition to shorter skits that are performed during chapel and for the school. Students learn to work and memorize lines, work on sets, work together and performance techniques for public speaking and being on stage.
